Who is SHE?

Khadidiatou Diouf is a Senegalese writer who grew up all over the place.

She was born in Senegal but was shipped to Washington D.C, and Ottawa to be a diplomatic child. Fun fact: she can divide her life into seven-year increments for the time she’s lived in the US, Senegal, and Canada! She learned English, perfected her French, and kept her national language: Wolof. Anime pushes her to dabble in Japanese, but that’s a perpetual work not in progress.

While in Canada, she stupidly chose to study International Development and Globalization. Riveting stuff. Khadi gained knowledge in politics but wanted more creativity. Luckily, the social media algorithm gods looked into her data and sent her an ad for Film School. There, she studied Design and Visual Arts and specialized in writing for film, television, comics, and games. She finally found her passion for writing all things animation. She writes for multiple animation and live-action formats: shorts, features, TV shows, games, and comics.

Back in Senegal, Khadi got to write multiple episodes for the Triggerfish/Cake/ Netflix animated series MAMA K'S TEAM 4 and KIYA, a preschool series for Disney, eOne, and Triggerfish. She also wrote for Kayfo Games Studios on mobile and PC games.

As a creative, Khadi loves all things whimsical yet action-packed. Fantasy tugs at her heart, and finding ways to turn the normal day-to-day into quirky fiction makes her smile at her keyboard. Her characters are never perfect because she isn't either; besides, perfection can be pretty boring. That's also why animation feels like her soulmate—after all, reality is rarely perfect, and animation showcases that beautifully.

Now, development is her latest calling after spending time polishing stories to make them shine, whether hers or others. If you have an idea that you just can’t wrap your mind around, let Khadi help you. I, the disembodied unbiased third-person voice, can vouch for her talent and amazing personality.
